The SMA Sunny Tripower Hybrid X 25 is a three-phase hybrid inverter for commercial and multi-family hybrid systems where a large PV array is combined with battery storage and backup power. It delivers 25 kW of nominal power and 25 kVA of apparent power at up to 97.7% efficiency, and supports as much as 37.5 kWp on the DC side. Four independent MPP trackers with two inputs each, 32 A per tracker (45 A Isc) and a 335–850 V MPP range make it straightforward to configure complex arrays split across roof sections, orientations or shading zones. With SMA high-voltage batteries it raises self-consumption, smooths the load curve and shifts production to the most valuable hours; the optional SMA Backup solution supplies the whole building during a grid outage, with automatic grid-failure detection.
