Battery SMA Storage M Starter Pack, 12,28kWh, HV - 10 years warranty

The SMA Storage M Starter Pack is the complete entry-level configuration of the SMA Storage M high-voltage battery system: one Storage M BMS Unit combined with three Storage M Battery Modules, for 12.28 kWh of usable capacity. It gives installers a single reference to order instead of assembling the tower component by component. Charge and discharge power reaches 5 kW, with a nominal battery voltage of 172.8 V and an operating window of 151.2 to 191.7 V. The LFP (LiFePO4) cells are designed for daily cycling with high round-trip efficiency, and the system can be extended up to 12 modules — 49.12 kWh — within two years of commissioning. The tower is assembled without inter-module cabling: modules stack mechanically onto the BMS Unit, which handles cell monitoring, balancing and communication with the inverter. Natural cooling means there is nothing to service, IP66 protection allows indoor or outdoor installation, and an LED shows the state of charge. Assembled, the pack measures 530 × 405 × 601 mm and weighs 120 kg. It pairs with the SMA Sunny Tripower Hybrid X and Sunny Boy Smart Energy hybrid inverters to maximise self-consumption and, with the SMA Backup solution, to supply the home during grid outages. A 10-year manufacturer warranty completes a proven and expandable storage solution.
