Project Zero joins the Ecostal group

Ecostal Group and Jan Cieters announce they have entered into an agreement leading Ecostal to own 100% of Project Zero. Project Zero is a major player in the B2B distribution of equipment for photovoltaic installations in Dutch-speaking Belgium.

The acquisition of Project Zero represents the first step in the Ecostal group's expansion strategy in Europe. This transaction aims to constitute a solid group, leader in Belgium, able to face the many upcoming challenges and to bring maximum value to professionals in the photovoltaic energy sector, in Belgium, in France, in Luxembourg and the Netherlands. 

This operation will help us to serve all installers in Belgium more effectively. Our networks are complementary and the strong presence of Project Zero in Flanders will allow us to constitute a leading group in Belgium. Our DNA’s are comparable. We have in common this desire to be close to our clients and to support them in each step of their work. By joining forces, we also allow Belgian installers to have access to an even more complete range of products. This offers new perspectives for our customers, for our suppliers and for users of photovoltaic panels in general.

Each entity will retain its name, its customers and its management autonomy. Ecostal will operate in the French-speaking Belgian, French and Luxembourg markets while Project Zero will serve the Flemish and Dutch markets.
